[EC] Expert Council setup with the participation of 7 professors from: Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine;
[SS] Summer School held in Rome from June 24 to 29, with the participation of 8 students selected from: Croatia, Czech Republich, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine. They attended specific lectures on CST, participated in meetings and worked both together and alone to refine their project topics; finally they presented their work to the Expert Council members and shared with them ideas and proposals.

[TF] Three students selected for the CST-CEE Task Force; the first one , from Romania, enters FASS Licentiate Program in October.
[RD] 4 contributions from students participating to the 2018 Summer School published in: Oikonomia Journal of Ethics and Social Sciences, 18 (1), February 2019;
[TF] Two students (from Czech Republic and Hungary) join CST-CEE Task Force, entering FASS Licentiate Program in February;
[EC] Expert Council opens to 3 new members from Czech Republic, Lithuania and Slovakia;
[SS] Summer School held in Rome from July 1 to 6, with the participation of 8 students selected from: Croatia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, From July 1-3, the school focused on CST and migration, with contributions from FASS professors and partner organizations. On July 4-5, Expert Council members presented their current research topics and the students shared their CST projects.

[RD] Prof I. Szasnizlo, from FASS, developed and published an Annotated Bibliography covering some important Contributions on Catholic Social Thought (CST) produced in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Countries in the 3rd Millennium.
[RD] 6 contributions from students participating to the 2019 Summer School published in: Oikonomia, Journal of Ethics and Socials Sciences, 19 (1), February 2020;
[RD] Published in February the book "In a different Voice: Reflections on Catholic Social Thought from and for Europe". The book collects contributions from EC members, offering original views of relevant issues; it brings a new unexpected aspect of CST-CEE project: "the chance for perspectives from the CEE region to speak to the whole of Europe and to Western Europe in particular".
[TF] In June, the first Task Force member completes his Licentiate Program with a 9,68/10 average point (Magna cum Laude). Under the guidance of prof. I. Szaniszlo, Iuliu Morariu discussed his Licentiate Thesis on: "The 'Christian Nationalism' of Nichifor Crainic reflected in his work from the 4th decade of the 20th Century". The student is currently working on his PhD research at FASS.
[TF] In February, the last two members of the Task Force completed their Licentiate Program:
Vojtech Kubis discussed his Licentiate Thesis on: "Reflection of the Catholic Social Teaching in documents addressed to EU Institutions: the case of COMECE publications", under the guidance of Prof. G. Casale, and completed his program with a 8,93/10 average point (Magna cum Laude);
Reka Mohay discussed her Licentiate Thesis on: "Managing with care - overview of a human-centered management: Jesus as a possible role model for modern managers", under the guidance of prof. R. Petrini, and completed her program with a 9,72/10 average point (Magna cum Laude).
