The Purple Sisters Youth Advisory is a committee of young feminists in the Ottawa area who educate, support, and empower other young people! We focus on inputting an intersectional social justice framework on our feminism and aim to create positive spaces that give a voice to marginalized genders. In doing so, the Purple Sisters have taken on various projects in the past that cover a wide range of topics related to feminism, healthy relationships, intersectionality, and mental and sexual health. We believe in advocating for our community and are striving for equality for all of us! 

The Purple Sister's Youth Advisory Team is a part of the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa (YSB). YSB is a non-profit organization aimed at creating safe, non-judgmental and accessible environments for youth aged 12 and up. They offer services in English and French related to employment, housing, physical health, mental health, youth engagement and youth justice.
