Career Services Corner
Don't believe the myth that employers do not hire during the holidays! Companies hire to fill a need no matter what time of the year it is. When interacting with upcoming graduates, don’t forget to remind them to keep up the momentum! Many job seekers take a break during that time of year, which means fewer candidates are looking, providing active job seekers a better shot at getting hired by or before the new year. Always refer them to connect with Career Services through the CareerNetwork, which is located on their student portal under the Community tab. There’s a wealth of information and resources available on the CareerNetwork. You can share this video, which contains information about resources available on the CareerNetrwork and how they can partner with Career Services.

Student Organization Involvement
The following graph includes important data points. If there is additional information or data that you would like to receive, please notify the Office of Student Life at studentlife@purdueglobal.edu.
Data Explanation: Unique student count is the number of individual students who are involved in an organization at Purdue University Global. Involvement Touch Points are the number of memberships in student organizations. Therefore, this number reflects students who may be involved in multiple organizations.
Data Explanation: Involvement Touch Points based on which school the student is enrolled in are in blue. Involvement Touch Points based on which school the organization ‘belongs’ to (i.e. the school the faculty advisor works for) are in orange. These numbers will reflect students who may be involved in multiple organizations.
