Open Enrollment 2024 is Now Open
Open enrollment for 2024 is now open. Between now and Nov. 7 at 6 pm ET, you can make your selections for 2024. Go to one.purdue.edu, select 2024 Open Enrollment, and log in to the Benefitfocus website with your Purdue username and password.
While some of your benefits for 2024 will roll forward, we recommend you actively review your plans and make elections for the year, especially for the following exceptions:
Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts
These accounts require re-enrollment every year. So, if you don’t re-enroll, you will not have these accounts or coverages in 2024.
Vision Coverage
Elections from 2023 will not carry over. If you do not elect a vision option you will not have coverage for 2024.
Short-Term Disability
Elections from 2023 will not carry over. If you do not enroll in short-term disability, you will not have coverage for 2024.
Voluntary AD&D Coverage
Elections from 2023 will not carry over. You will need to enroll during open enrollment, as our coverage amounts are changing.
Refer to the open enrollment email that was sent out on October 24th for more information, resources, and details.

Intentionality, Strategy Drive Purdue Global Business Dean for Student Growth
Jeff Buck knows a thing or two about comebacks, strategies and logistics.
With his love for baseball and strategy, Buck — a former high school and collegiate pitcher known for his curveballs, knuckleballs, and change-ups — compares life decisions to a pitcher’s choice on what to throw in a given situation, knowing that short-term decisions impact long-term results. And he encourages people — especially his business and IT faculty teammates — to think and behave with an intentional, forward-looking mindset. Learn more about Jeff Buck on the Purdue Newsroom.

Celebrating 15 Years of MaPS
In 2008, the School of Multidisciplinary and Professional Studies (MaPS, at the time, the School of General Education) was founded, and this year it celebrates 15 years of service! The past 15 years have seen some exciting developments: from launching the annual General Education Conference (GEC), to adding multiple programs and many full-time faculty positions, all thanks to the leadership of the academic department chairs, assistant chairs, and other leadership. We asked faculty and department chairs for their perspectives and recollections of the school and what it means to them. There was a tremendous response, and we wanted to highlight several aspects that encapsulate the school's unique quality. Read more about MaPS 15 year anniversary.

Dr. Heather Weaver is a Purdue Global faculty member and Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Weaver completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) as part of the Gift of Knowledge (GOK) program in 15 months while working 30 hours a week in a Family Practice Clinic. She was invited to represent Purdue Global by presenting her DNP project for the Biennial Sigma Convention and at the West Virginia Rural Health Conference, and her abstract will be published in the Marshall Journal of Medicine.
