Graduates report to: Armory (812 3rd Street)
Graduate Line Up:
Report Time: 45 min before ceremony
Go to headshot photo station (No check-in required)
Line up by number (located on name card)
Processional: Begins 15 min before ceremony (Arrive late? Go to Elliott Hall)
IMPORTANT: Bring name card (mailed)
Card is used to call your name on stage
Wear: Cap & gown (tassel on right); Hood (Master's/Doctoral); Comfortable shoes (stairs)
After Ceremony:
Reunite with guests at fountain (behind Elliott Hall)

*Park in the recommended garages to reduce traffic congestion. Allow extra time for traffic due to multiple ceremonies throughout the day.

How many guests can I bring? Do they need a ticket?
There is no guest limit, and there are NO tickets.
Lightweight business casual. Gowns get warm and there’s walking and stairs—wear comfortable shoes.
Diplomas are mailed 6 weeks after completing your final class and confirming all program requirements. Not handed out at the ceremony.

Yes! Email graduation@purdueglobal.edu to request it and copy the other Purdue Global graduate.
Only Purdue Global grads may enter the staging room, join the processional, sit in graduate seating, or cross the stage. If an assistant is required for disability accommodations, email graduation@purdueglobal.edu.

Do I need a cap & gown for virtual ceremony?
No, but are welcome to wear one. To participate in the tassel-turning, purchase any black cap (mortarboard) on Amazon.

Ceremony times are emailed and posted in the Showroom six weeks out. Virtual names are called alphabetically by last name as listed in the program.
