Brock Young is a program specialist for the Federal Executive Board, Western Region and Veterans Federal Employment Coordinator. Mr Young helps federal partners develop internal programs and methods to not only recruit and retain Military Spouses and Veterans but champion the federal government as the employer of choice for them. He is a 100% disabled Veteran who retired from the active-duty military after 24 years of service and has been with the federal government since retiring from the US Army in 2021. He uses the lessons he learned (the hard way) during his transition, to assist others in making a successful, and stress-free jump from Uniformed to Civilian Federal Service. Before joining the federal government, Brock was an active-duty Service Member who concluded a 24+ year military career by participating in the DoD Skillbridge/Army Career Skills Program. He also volunteers his time to help transitioning Service Members and Veterans translate their military experience into terms federal hiring managers are looking for.
