Information Security (IS) track is designed to give students an opportunity to study the fundamentals of digital technology and basic network system security concept and skills that emphasizes on information security. This programme integrates fundamental concepts of cryptography, security management and network computer security that allow students to determine and analyze security principles regarding information, confidentially, integrity and availability. With the aim to facilitate students with the knowledge, technical skills and attitude towards new technological advancement and challenge in the field of Digital Technology, the students will also be exposed on the awareness of key information security principles. This programme also provides students with transferable skills and multi-skills which enable them to posses the ability to adapt and adopt to new digital technology focusing in information security.
