About ms. flood

My life

This is my first year as the Vocal Music Teacher at Pulaski Community Middle School. I'm so excited to a member of the PCMS family!

I grew up in the Green Bay Area and attended Preble High School. I was heavily involved in the music department and participated in the school's choir, band, musicals, and show choirs. After high school, I originally decided to pursue vocal performance at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, but I realized that teaching was my true passion and transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to pursue my dream of being a choir director.

In December 2022, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor in Music Education with a Choral Emphasis. Three days after graduation, I started a long-term substitute position teaching elementary music in the Oshkosh Area School District. During this time, I also began work as a Solo & Ensemble Festival Adjudicator and continued my participation in professional organizations such as the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).

In my free time, you can find me spending time with family and friends, golfing, or hiking.

I am so excited to be in Pulaski, and I can't wait for this school year! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
