Prom Guidelines
As stated in the SWHS Student Handbook:
No guest tickets will be sold at the door. Only enrolled SWHS students that meet the criteria below will be able to purchase tickets at the door.
NO Guest will be allowed without the Prom Guest Form being on file. The form must be returned by the SWHS student ASAP but no later than April 3, 2026 with the exception of tickets sold the last week before prom in which forms are due by April 15, 2026.
All guests are to present a picture ID at the dance. (If a guest goes to a different school, a student ID or printout from Infinite Campus will suffice.)
All students and guests are expected to follow the SWHS Code of Conduct, dress code and dance protocol, while at a SWHS dance.
The SWHS student is responsible for the actions of his or her guest.
Only one guest per SWHS host student is allowed unless the Principal has approved an additional guest.
A guest must arrive with, and leave with, the SWHS host student who purchased the ticket.
Any students below 9th grade are not allowed to attend any SWHS dance.
Dances are not open to persons over the age of 21. (Picture ID is required.)
The guest ticket is valid only for the guest named on the Prom Guest Form; it may not be used by anyone else.
Student fees must be paid to attend.
Students must be passing 4 out of 6 classes (or the equivalent of) in order to attend.
Students must be meeting the SWHS attendance policy on the date of prom in order to attend. The attendance policy can be found in the Student Handbook.
Once students leave prom, they will not be allowed to re-enter.
Use or possession of drugs or alcohol will result in legal action.
Weapons of any kind will not be permitted.
Any severe infraction will result in being banned from ALL school activities for the remainder of the year.
No Refunds will be given.
