Students may check out two books at a time unless they have an overdue book. Students may get a book off of the free shelf until their account is clear of overdue books.
Once you have the book you want to check out, come to the library circulation desk. We will need your first and last name. We will search for your name and scan the books by the school barcode located on the front of the book.
Each week there will be a crate in your Language Arts classroom to return books. You may also return your library books to the library at any time with teacher permission. You should also bring your library books to the library during your scheduled library visit with your language art's class. Return the book as you enter the library. If you wish to renew and keep the same book, hang on to it until time for check out at the end of class.
Students will visit the library with their Language Arts classes every other week. Students may also visit during the day with teacher permission and during homeroom.
We have added many new e-books to our collection this year! This is an easy way to check out books from your device at any time. These books can be accessed from our library catalog website. Click here to find a tutorial on how to find e-books. You can also click here to find a video about how to read books from our online book program called MackinVia.
If you lose your library book, it is your responsibility to pay for the book. Please let us know if you think it is lost, and we can help you look for it. Sometimes people find books at school and they are returned without you knowing. Also, if you have not returned a book to the previous school you attended, you have to return that book prior to checking out at our school. We are happy to help you return the book to the correct school. Lost books are not removed from student accounts even at a new school. If you have lost a book, you need to make arrangements with that school to get this taken care of.
