2026 10th-12th Grade All-State
Kentucky All State High School Choir
All-State is February 4-6 at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville. The bus will leave from school on Wednesday morning at 8:30.
Please bring money for lunch and dinner on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Breakfast is not included with the hotel room, so pack some pop tarts, cereals bars, etc. You might also want some snacks and a water bottle.
I will hand out music after we have arrived in Louisville.
There will not be a bus coming back on Friday night or Saturday morning. If your parents are not planning to attend the concert and take you home with them, please let me know now so that I can make other arrangements.
Be sure you have purchased your concert attire and bring it with you to Louisville. School clothes are appropriate for all other rehearsals and events.
MALE: Long-sleeve collared BLACK formal shirt, long black tie, black dress pants, black dress shoes, black socks (no jackets, tuxedos, or vests)
FEMALE: Long solid black dress (ankle-length or longer, two-piece black skirt and black top are also acceptable), black dress shoes, black tights. (No sleeveless dresses or tops, no “prom” dresses, spaghetti strap, or off-the-shoulder dresses, plunging necklines, or dresses shorter than ankle length will be allowed on stage the night of the concert)
Parents attending the concert on Friday night will need to purchase their own tickets. See the instructions below.

Tickets may be ordered on-line at www.kentuckycenter.org or by calling 502-584-7777 or 1-800-775-7777. All tickets are $29.25 plus handling fees imposed by the Kentucky Center for all phone and web orders (fees:$1.50 per ticket).

Wednesday Lunch: St Matthew's Mall Foodcourt
Wednesday Dinner: E-order Smashburger, Potbelly, or Chipotle before rehearsal
Thursday Lunch: Sandwhiches in the room from the Gleasons and Coffey families-THANK YOU!!!
Thursday Dinner: Let's vote between Bearno's Pizza, Sports and Social Club (bowling), and Locos Mexican
Friday Lunch: Staggered by choir at various locations becasue of dress rehearsal. You MUST eat with the other people in your All-State Choir
Friday Dinner: Sway in the hotel so you can continue getting ready for the concert and meet parents. They offer $12 KMEA dinner specials usually.
