Jeong-Gi Um, Ph.D., is a professor of geological engineering at the Pukyong National University. He has over 20 years of experience in rock mechanics, rock engineering, and probabilistic and numerical methods. Background includes broad education and the corresponding academic degrees received in geology, geophysics, and mining & geological engineering. Experience contains intensive research activities and consulting conducted in the academic and industry areas of geological and geotechnical engineering. Publication lists reflect extensive achievement in these fields.
