  • Relate well to others.
  • Want to be part of ‘the team’.
  • Communicate well with all people.
  • Show respect for themselves, other people and the environment.

Who are actively involved and…

  • Join in and are happy.
  • Enjoy sports and physical activities.
  • Are keen to help and encourage others.
  • Enjoy being involved in the school community.

Keeping Learning Motivating & Engaging:

We ensure that our learning programs are diverse, challenging, motivational and engaging. 

We all work to support each student as an individual to achieve to the best of their abilities. 

We ensure all areas of the curriculum are given adequate coverage.

We do this by:Going on trips
Ensuring our school resources are meeting the needs of our learners
Involving the students in directing their learning
Getting school whanau and community members in to work with our students
Working with local businesses
Meeting up with other rural and local schools
Having outside experts come and work with our staff and students in areas such as:
- Sport - Science - Art - Technology - Health - Digital Technologies - Music - Social Sciences - Māori  -

We ensure that our learning programs are meeting the needs of our school whānau by carrying out a bi-annual community survey.
