The meaning behind Valentinés Day

The name Valentineś Day is originally called Saint Valentineś. It became associated with romance an love within the 14 and 15 centuries. The real meaning of Valentineś Day came from the Christian holiday honoring a martyr named Valentiné.  Valentinés Day is likely based on a combination of two Valentine's who were executed on February 14 in different years by the Roman Empiror Claudius II in the 3rd century. Although we  know of this  day by sharing love, gifts, and just spending time with your loved ones there are many reasons also behind this day that people may or may not know.
