Ancient Egypt is a civilization that happened along the Nile River for over three thousand years. It is mostly known for the pyramids that were built and it's also very known for its agriculture and many of the items that were left behind. One of the most important things are it's pyramids. The Pyramid of Giza was built for Pharaoh Khufu around 2580-2560 BC. It is the tallest man-made structure in the world and it's been for over 3,800 years. It is mostly made by huge rocks that were said to be moved by people. This fact fascinates people because some believed they were a very advanced civilization. They also left some types of drawings on surfaces like rocks which also made people believe it could tell some type of story or is it some type of language they used. Many of the things they used are still being used by many people till this day. In my opinion many of the things they also invented are still very useful.
The society was organized into a hierarchy. With the Pharaohs at the top, considered a god on earth, followed by nobles, priests, artisans, and farmers. The Nile River was the most important. It allowed them to grow many crops and made farming possible. This made them thrive and they were mostly settled. The pyramids, with their massive stone blocks and perfect alignments, shows Egyptians were advanced in engineering and in mathematics. This civilization has influenced thousands of people. It impacted art, architecture, and religious practices. The ancient Egyptians practiced polytheism. They worshipped gods and goddesses which represented aspects of life. In conclusion I think that Ancient Egypt played a huge part in human history.
