These look very similar to worms, but they are really different from each other. These snakes are extremely endangered and are only found on the island of Madagascar. They use their head to burrow through the ground for termites and ants. They also eat their larvae (which are not completely-grown insects) and many other soft-bodied insects. This creature also belongs to five scientific families which are Typhlopidae, Leptotyphlopidae, Anomalepididae, Gerrhopilidae, and Xenotyphlopidae.
