Developer Fees Information
Current Fees Effective October 19, 2022
Commercial Construction: $0.312 per square foot
Level I Residential Construction: $1.92 per square foot - See Fee Schedule
Fees will be charged using the most current rate which has been approved by the Placer Union High School District Board of Trustees. Fees must be paid prior to the City issuing building permits.
Please note the Residential Fee of $1.92 applies to ADU's and JADU's (500 square feet and above)
Placer Union High School District Developer Fees Procedures:
Contact appropriate City or County to obtain application for permit. Wait until the City or County completes the application for permit information before proceeding.
Email a copy of the County Permit Issuance Checklist to Ann Walsh, Senior District Administrative Assistant, Administrative Services: awalsh@puhsd.k12.ca.us; Phone (530) 886-4413.
Contact Ann Walsh at (530) 886-4413 to make an appointment to pay fees. Appointments are prefererred; walk-ins will be taken as schedule and time permit. Business Deparment Office Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:15 pm (staff may be unavailable between 12 and 1 pm).
Present cashier's check (preferred) or business/personal check made payable to Placer Union High School District (or PUHSD) for the amount indicated for payment of fees (bank issued check only).
Receive a Certificate of Compliance from Placer Union High School District which the applicant will present to the City or County.
