Claudia Pineda lives in Renton, Washington and has lived and worked in the Seattle area since 2016. Through her career as a Social Worker, she has worked in a range of settings to develop human service systems that sought to advance social and racial justice. The depth of knowledge she has had the privilege to acquire compels her to build community capacity. In addition to being committed to a full-time role as a Program Manager at King County, she offers limited consulting services in short-term, specialized projects. Since community is essential to human service efforts, she has developed strong ties with other professionals who offer an array of expertise. When there is an opportunity to increase value for a client, she partners with consultants from this network to deliver. She is available to work on these efforts during limited weekday hours, evening hours, weekends, and sometimes during the week. She provides services over Zoom and in person. (More about Claudia...)
"I am intentional in advancing the liberation of Black and Brown people and in removing the cultural and physical constraints that seek our erasure. I am accountable to my community. I strive for excellence. I am authentic, honest, transparent, and courageous. I am an independent thinker and I collaborate with my community members. I establish boundaries and respect others. I communicate assertively and directly."
