Jared Perez is an AI Engineer for IFit building the next generation of health and wellness applications. He is a University of Puget Sound alum with graduate degrees in exercise physiology and biomechanics and doctoral research focused on cellular biology and digital signal processing. 

In his talk, he will discuss his academic and career journey through the health sciences. From human performance optimization to microbiology to AI engineering, Jared will discuss his research in exercise physiology and redox biology along with his current work as an AI engineer to showcase how different scientific tools and approaches can be leveraged to pursue a singular goal.
