Beginning Band (4th Period- All Year)
Beginning Band focuses on building music literacy and fundamental instrumental skills. Students perform simple repertoire with an emphasis on developing the techniques and discipline needed for advancement to Concert Band and Symphonic Band. During the fall semester, students in this class do not participate in Marching Band.
Concert Band (5th Period- All Year)
The Concert Band is a mid to upper-level band experience for our dedicated students working their way towards Symphonic Band.
Marching Band/Symphonic Band (6th Period- Fall/Spring)
A premier music experience, the Marching Band/Symphonic Band is made up of mostly upperclassmen. During the Fall, the ensemble focuses on preparing to compete in several Marching Band Reviews across The Valley. The Symphonic Band performs several times in the spring and travels to Festivals. The Symphonic Band is an intense, but very rewarding experience!
Cadet Band (7th Period- All Year)
This ensemble performs introductory-level concert band music with a high level of focus on preparing the students for Concert Band and Symphonic Band.
