Families, supporters, and community members play a powerful role in shaping the culture of school sports. The way we cheer from the stands, speak with our children and peers, and interact with coaches, officials, and players directly impacts every student-athlete’s enjoyment of the game and fosters a welcoming environment for all.

To ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere for student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators, the following behaviors are not permitted:

• Confronting a coach or official in an aggressive manner at any time before, during, or after a contest
  
  

• Using verbal or physical harassment toward players, coaches, fans from either team, officials, or school staff
  
  

• Using abusive language or making obscene gestures
