Head Coach - RYAN GODDARD

A former starting wide receiver for the South High Colts and 2001 graduate, Coach Goddard has worked his way up from player seeking a starting spot to Colorado Coach of the Year. When longtime Coach Mark Herring’s career at South came to an end in 2010, Coach Goddard was given the opportunity to lead the next generation of Colts on the football field. Over the years, Coach Goddard has instituted an offensive scheme that challenges the most experienced scoreboard operator’s abilities to maintain an accurate score and the defensive grit keeping opponents frustrated and out of the end zone.

Coach Goddard’s style of coaching is appreciated by players and his attention to developing life skills along with football skills, puts his players in the right position to succeed on and off the field. As Colorado Coach of the Year, South High is proud to have such a smart, innovative and respected coach lead their football program for many years to come.
