HISTORY

The series of ‘Latin American Colloquia on Algebra’ began in 1980; until 1994 it was mainly a local event that brought together mathematicians from Argentina and Chile and, on occasion, a few invited speakers from other countries. After a brief interruption, these meetings resumed:

2001 in Córdoba, Argentina

2003 in Cocoyoc, México

2005 in Colonia, Uruguay

2007 in Medellín, Colombia

2009 in São Pedro, Brasil

2012 in Pucón, Chile

2014 in Lima, Perú

2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina

2017 in Quito, Ecuador

2019 in México City, México

2024 in Santiago de Chile, Chile
