The event will take place at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), one of the leading research universities in Latin America, located in the district of San Miguel in Lima.
PUCP provides an academic environment designed to support high-level scientific exchange. The campus includes fully equipped auditoriums for international conferences, modern classrooms designed for technical sessions and tutorials, and specialized laboratories dedicated to engineering, acoustics, electronics, and biomedical research.
The university also hosts an extensive research ecosystem that promotes collaboration between students, researchers, and industry partners, creating an ideal environment for discussions, demonstrations, and interdisciplinary interaction during the event.
The PUCP campus is widely recognized for its open and collaborative atmosphere. With spacious green areas, pedestrian-friendly pathways, and multiple academic buildings interconnected across the campus, it naturally fosters networking and informal scientific discussions between sessions.
Participants will have access to a wide range of services including cafeterias, study spaces, and the university’s central library, one of the most important academic libraries in Peru. Campus-wide high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity ensures seamless access to digital resources and communication throughout the event.
These spaces create an environment where scientific exchange extends beyond the conference rooms into collaborative discussions across the campus.
PUCP is strategically located in San Miguel, providing convenient access to multiple areas of Lima.
Within a short distance from the campus, participants will find shopping centers, restaurants, and cultural venues, offering opportunities to explore local gastronomy and leisure activities. The nearby Pacific coastline also provides scenic spaces for relaxation after conference sessions.
This combination of academic excellence, modern infrastructure, and access to cultural and urban experiences makes PUCP an ideal venue for an international scientific meeting.
The workshop sessions will take place at Pavilion A of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú campus.
Pavilion A is a modern academic building designed for lectures, seminars, and collaborative activities. Its classrooms are equipped with audiovisual systems and comfortable seating, providing an ideal environment for technical presentations, tutorials, and scientific discussions.
Located in the central area of the campus, the building offers easy access to green spaces, cafeterias, and other university facilities, creating a convenient and dynamic setting for participants throughout the event.
Hands-on demonstrations and specialized sessions will take place using equipment from Medical Imaging Laboratory (Laboratorio de Imágenes Médicas - LIM) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. The laboratory is dedicated to research and development in medical imaging technologies, including quantitative ultrasound, elastography, and biomedical instrumentation. It hosts advanced imaging equipment and computational resources that support experimental research and innovation in medical diagnostics and biomedical engineering.
Additional practical sessions will be held in room V115, located within the electronics engineering facilities of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. This space is part of the laboratories used for electronic system development and engineering education, where students and researchers work on instrumentation, prototyping, and experimental projects. The laboratory environment supports hands-on activities and technical demonstrations, providing an appropriate setting for interactive sessions related to ultrasound instrumentation and signal processing.
Participants arriving by air will land at Jorge Chávez International Airport, the main international airport of Peru, located in the Constitutional Province of Callao, approximately 30–40 minutes by car from the PUCP and accommodation, depending on traffic conditions.
From the airport, the accommodation can be reached by:
