In conjunction with Rodimon Landscaping, we are extremely fortunate to also have all necessary mulch needed for the landscaping at TFS to be donated by Lakeview Materials & Trucking!
Lakeview Materials is locally owned and has generously donated three yards of mulch to our school’s landscaping efforts this year as we prepare to welcome families, next week!
We are extremely grateful for these local companies showing up for our community. The time, labor and generosity from Rodimon Landscaping and Lakeview Materials are greatly appreciated.

The PTTF is proud to sponsor Engineering Wonder at Thorntons Ferry School for a school-wide assembly in the morning of Thursday, March 12th. This is a STEM infused magic show to inspire young people to start creating with STEM. The whole show revolves around the technology that makes the show’s drone work. The students learn about electricity, batteries, electric motors, propellers, and radio frequencies. The show’s goal is to introduce basic electronics concepts to young people, but more importantly it’s about inspiring them to be creative with that knowledge, make cool things, and to never stop learning.
*Remember to wear your grade-level colors on Thursday, March 12th!
The PTTF is also proud to sponsor Alan Katz as this year’s Visiting Author, who will be visiting TFS for a school-wide assembly in the morning of Tuesday, March 31st.
He will also sign books for students who have ordered them online or on Amazon. To place an order on the Author’s website, visit:https://rjjulia.com/list/alan-katz - orders must be submitted by Monday, March 9th in order to have them at school in time for the assembly; include “Alan Katz Author Visit 3/31” in the comments field at checkout. If you’d like to order his book(s) on Amazon, bring your book(s) to school by Thursday, March 25th.
Bookmarks (like above) were sent home in student folders before February vacation break.
