Meet Mrs. Russell, extreme couponer, pop culture fanatic and reality TV’s biggest fan. She can recognize a company by its logo, finish a commercial jingle without a thought and recite corporate slogans in an instant. Mrs. Russell oversees our Marketing, Co-op (work study) & Senior Internship programs and loves to use her networking abilities to create internship and job opportunities for her students. Prior to teaching, she spent 10 years working in the corporate communications & sports marketing fields. In her free time, you can find Mrs. Russell shopping for a great deal, acting as an Uber driver for her three sons or catching up on the latest pop culture trends. Mrs. Russell believes that all students should take at least one business class during their high school career to get an idea of whether or not they’d be interested in pursuing a career in the business world. Feel free to send Mrs. Russell an email at CRussell@pthsd.net.
Known best for his dominating dodgeball performances at PHS pep rallies, Mr. Papa is our very own Economics, Finance & Management guru. He’s spent the last decade sharing his knowledge of all things business with PHS students and standing by his argument that Michael Jordan is a better basketball player than LeBron James. When he’s not at school, you can find Mr. Papa on a tree stand in the woods, putting for birdie or rooting for one of his favorite sports teams - The Yankees, Giants, Devils, Ohio State Football & North Carolina Basketball. Mr. Papa, who takes pride in the fact that he can instantly name each of our fifty state capitals, feels strongly that business classes are the most important classes you’ll take while at Par High. Mr. Papa is happy to answer any questions you email him at GPapa@pthsd.net.
