It's Maori Language Week! Read, watch and listen to resources you find on the first presentation, or presentation posted 2 or or the site linked to.
Decide which 3 topics you would like to learn more Te Reo in. (Range available in presentation.
Record your new Te Reo or write about it and share on your blog. In total you should end up with 3 - 4 different posts.
If we have time you will have the chance to present your learning as a speech to your class!

It's Tongan Language! Read, watch and listen to resources you finds on slides 9 - 12.
List what makes up the identity of those immersed in the Tongan culture.
Write to explain to children at Point England School what and why identity in the Tongan culture is important.
You will have the opportunity to read your writing as a speech to your class over the next 2 weeks. Malo!

Practice making cue cards and using them in class.
Understand what the marking schedule is for persuasive speeches. Do we need to change it seeing we are delivering speeches online to each other?
