The four basic steps to making a Movie!

1st - Learners completed their writing/reading activity/work.

2nd - Storyboard your movie, remember stick figure pictures and what shot you'll use and a sentence about what's happening in that particular scene.

3rd - Filming your movie, what shots will you be using, who is going to film.

4th - Editing your movie with iMovie. There are Walkthroughs on the 'How To' page.




Ideas for Getting Started to make Movies

  • Morning routine of walking to class.
  • Dancing to a song they know.
  • Narrative story about someone hiding at school.
  • Writing about a sporting event. Rugby player scoring a try or Netball player shooting a Goal.
  • Reading Activity - Could interview each other about what they have learned.
