Welcome to 4th Grade ELA! My name is Whitney Langheld, and I am so excited to be teaching at PTAA!

My family and I recently moved to Colorado from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I'm still learning my way around and look forward to hearing all of your recommendations for the best places to explore! We love hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors, which is what brought us to beautiful Colorado. Back home, the hot and humid summers made it difficult to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted, so we're excited for this new adventure.

With nearly ten years of teaching experience, I love helping students grow into confident readers, writers, and thinkers. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn. Together, we'll explore great books, strengthen our reading and writing skills, and celebrate each student's unique strengths.
