Teaching has always been more than a profession to me—it is an opportunity to inspire, encourage, and help students discover their potential. My passion for education began with my mother, who has been a teacher for over 15 years. Watching the meaningful relationships she built with her students and the positive impact she had on their lives inspired me to pursue a career in education. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education with a specialization in Mathematics and Science from Shortwood Teachers' College in Jamaica, graduating with Honors.
Although I was born in the United States, I was raised in Jamaica, an experience that shaped my appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. I enjoy bringing creativity, diversity, and meaningful learning experiences into my classroom while fostering an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. My goal is to make learning interactive, enjoyable, and inspiring while nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.
When I'm not in the classroom, you'll likely find me reading, trying new cuisines, traveling, or seeking out my next adventure. I look forward to creating a classroom where my students feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn each day while making lasting memories together.
