Hi there! I’m Mrs. Mora, and I’m thrilled to guide 6th, 7th, and 8th graders through the exciting world of Social Studies here at PTAA. Our classroom is a space for curiosity, creativity, and connection, where we dive into the past, explore the present, and imagine the future together. Whether we’re untangling ancient civilizations, debating modern governments, or mapping global cultures, my goal is to make every lesson meaningful and memorable.
At PTAA, students are encouraged to be curious, creative, and confident—growing in a community that values connection and purpose.
About me
Hi! I’m Mrs. Mora, and I teach Social Studies to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at PTAA Charter School in Colorado Springs. After 13 amazing years in education, seven of those spent teaching math. I’ve recently stepped into this new chapter with Social Studies, and I couldn’t be more excited. I love making history and humanity come alive through storytelling, creativity, and deep connections with my students. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll find me crafting, journaling, or enjoying time with my family. Teaching isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am, and I’m thrilled to continue growing right alongside my students. 💙💛💚🩵
