WELCOME to 2026-2027 4th Grade Math Goals:

My educational philosophy is to spark joy and curiosity in math by nurturing students with warmth, celebrating their unique thinking, and connecting everyday life to the beauty of numbers.

Leveraging the Singapore Math method, my students will develop a deep Conceptual Understanding (CPA) method. Strengthen Problem-Solving Abilities ,Cultivate Critical Thinking and Mathematical Reasoning .Using this method will develop and Foster Algebraic Thinking and Proportional Reasoning. Our goal is to develop solid and confident citizens. Life long leaders= OUR GOAL with a GREAT sense of humor. and goofiness.

Biking, hiking, gardening with my husband (Jeff) , daughter(Gabby), sons(Tim and Greg), daughter-in-laws(Liz and Jenna), grandsons(Zeke, Xavier, Myles) and our dogs Luna and Dude is one of my greatest joys.

DREAM BIG DREAMS!

My Dreams

Being a teacher was not my only dream, yet when I discovered the joys of motivating another human to deleve into life's learning challenges, their success motivated me to pursue teaching. After working as a coach and camp counselor at LA bible camps, I found opening the lights to a student's world brought me great joy. Each day now I thank the Lord for an opportunity to serve students find their dreams.

Please remember we use Singapore Math in Focus- Grade 4. Students are encouraged to practice math facts daily for 15-20 min. daily on IXL or simply fact games inorder to develop excellent math fluency.
