I received my B.A. in Human Development and Elementary Education from Metro State University. I then received my Director’s License from ACC. I spent many years as a teacher and director of various preschools before joining PTAA as a third grade teacher before moving into first grade.

I have a strong belief in Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, which tells us that everyone is good at something. I’d be happy to discuss this educational philosophy any time. I often incorporate art, music, ASL, and physical movement into my teaching to help students understand the curriculum in a variety of ways.
