Daily schedule (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
The day in LIfe of a PTAA Kindergarten-er
8:00 - 8:15 Morning Work at desks - writing, fluency, following directions, and sight word practice.
8:15 - 9:00 English, Language, writing, sight words (words to know) and Phonics
9:00-9:25 Bathroom/Snack (snacks provided by parents. Please label first and last name. Students will need to open all snacks/drinks on own - send napkin/spoon if needed)
9:25-9:45 Recess (great time to volunteer so teacher can do assessments)
9:45-10:40 ELA Small Group Instruction (great time to volunteer so teacher can do assessments)
10:45-11:15 Lunch - Lunch room duty is alwyas looking for volunteers.
11:15-11:35 Recess
11:35-12:00 Science and Social Studies during wind down time (send a very small stuffy/pillow/ 2x2 blanket) this will help them to emotional regulate for before heading to languages/arts/music). All items wil be sent home on Fridays to be thoughouly washed and return on Monday (unkess sickness spikes nad they will be sent home until sickness is over.)
12:00-12:45 SPECIALs (Music/Art/Spanish/Mandarin/ P.E.)
12:45-1:05 Snack (provider and labled by parent)
1:05-2:30 Math and Rotations (great time to volunteer so teacher can do assessments :) )
2:30-2:50 Project Based Learning PLTW-I & R
2:50-3:00 Clean up/ pack up/ dismissal
Ms. Rodriguez offers tuturing for a nonminal fee after 3:15 p.m. at school for all grades
(limited slots open - online or in person at school/evenings/weekends).
Early Release Days will be (first one 12/16):
