Dr. Smith will work with you to create an individualized treatment plan to determine the frequency of follow-ups based on our clinical needs. Depending on the complexity and the acuity of one’s clinical conditions, patients can be seen from 1 week to 3 months depending on what the current situation calls for.  Patients are often seen more frequently during times of medication initiation, while medication changes are being made and when worsening symptoms require increased frequency of follow-up.

When should I be ready for my appointment?

We don't believe our time is more important than yours or any other patient.  For this reason, we plan to run on time.  Additional time will not be added at the end of your appointment time out of respect for both the clinic and other patient's schedules.  If there is not enough time left to complete visit properly, additional follow-up may be required.
