Freshman YEar

Freshman year is an experience. You will be attending a class where students learn the basics of business. To excel in the business world, students learn how to manage their own money and learn the ins and outs of finance. For example, students learn about gross pay, net pay, taxes, and budgets. They learn what credit is and actively practice how to utilize it properly. Students will experience mock real world business situations and compete against each other at a showcase. As part of the competition, students develop a business idea and create a business plan, which includes managing business finances, creating a marketing plan, and obtaining mock investments.
