The Palawan State University - School of Medicine aims to produce physicians who will serve the people, competent in both personal care and public health.
PSU School of Medicine aims to ground future physicians with a sound foundation and critical lenses to competently and comprehensively care for the evolving health needs of individuals and communities, equipped with values built around collaboration, sustainability, and social inclusion.
The School of Medicine of Palawan State University was established in the year 2023 in response to the need for doctors in the rural as well as urban communities of Palawan. It became the first school of medicine in the province of Palawan and in the MIMAROPA Region approved by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The School of Medicine, is situated in the main campus in Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City, and is sprawled on a 68-hectare site where the central administration and executive offices, undergraduate and graduate colleges and the Laboratory High School are located.
