NHAS is hosting a Paint Night on January 18th at 7 PM in the Warnock Commons Social Lounge. This event will be a chill, laid back chance for North Halls residents to socialize and show off their artistic abilities! We will supply participants with canvas', paint brushes, paint, and colored pencils. We look forward to seeing everyone's masterpieces!
Sex Toy Bingo
Sex Toy Bingo
NHAS will be running a "Sex Toy Bingo" event on March 23rd, 2024 from 6:30 - 9 PM in the North Market within Warnock Commons. During this event, North Halls residents will have the ability to interact with booths hosted by Title IX, Healthworks, and It's On Us, which are all Penn State organizations that promote safe sex and sexual education for college students. Students will then be able to participate in multiple bingo games, where the winner of each round gets to privately choose a sex toy as a prize. Prize winning and selection during this game will all be confidential- winners will be taken to a separate room to pick out their prize, and get to put the prize in a brown paper bag in order to ensure privacy.

On April 2nd, NHAS will be hosting an election of our officers for the 2024/25 school year from 6 to 7 PM in the Warnock Commons Private Dining Room. The eligibility requirements, as voted on recently as an amendment to our constitution, is that anyone running for an officer position has achieved an active membership status for at least one semester. We look forward to seeing you all on April 2nd so you can meet our potential officers and vote on who YOU would like to see running NHAS next school year.

NHAS is hosting a Jeopardy Night on February 28th from 7 to 9 PM in the Warnock Commons Social Lounge. During this event, North Halls residents will be able to participate in a Jeopardy competition for the grand prize of a Nintendo Switch. Be sure to check this fun event out for a chance to win!

NHAS will be selling Candy Grams for Valentine's Day! Want to send your friends, partner, or special someone a gift? Purchase Candy Grams from us to sweeten up the holiday! Visit our table in Warnock Commons from 4-8 PM January 29th - February 9th to purchase (on weekdays only)!
Candy Grams can be sent to anyone living on campus (no matter what residential area).

NHAS is hosting a Bingo Night on January 26th at 7 PM in the Warnock Commons Social Lounge. During this event, North Halls residents will be able to participate in multiple rounds of bingo, where the winner of each round can win a prize such as a JBL Speaker, Plushies, Blanket Hoodies, Sunset Lamps, and so much more. Be sure to show up for your chance to win!

North Wars is a competition amongst all North Halls residents in which different weeks/themes will hold events where each group of residents has the opportunity to win points for their group, and the group with the most points at the end of North Week, the final week of North Wars, will win a prize.

Points can be gained in a variety of ways, following the information below:
5 Points: Following/already having followed our TikTok or Instagram pages and reposting any TikTok or Instagram posts we make (previous or recent ones).
3 Points: Commenting on our TikTok or Instagram posts.
1 Point: Liking our TikTok or Instagram posts.
In order to be eligible to gain points during social media week, you must fill out the "NHAS Social Media Week Registration Form" linked below.
Halloweekend:
This week will focus on teaching North Halls residents safety during Halloweekend here at Penn State. We will have presentations from different organizations occurring during the week, along with fun learning activities. In order to gain points for your team, you simply have to attend the presentation and participate!
This event will be held on Thursday, October 26th from 6-7 pm in Warnock Lounge. Stop by to get points for your team!
Additional ways you can earn points towards your North Wars team is by attending our "Table Trivia," which will be hosted all week. Between the hours of 4-5 pm Monday through Friday of this week, our NHAS board will have a booth stationed right inside of Warnock Commons, right near the front desk and the doors to the market. Each day, North Wars participants can scan a QR code to answer a different set of questions, which is how points can be earned. Participation is limited to once per day, seeing as there is only a new set of questions each day, and not each time you scan the QR code. Come visit our booth and win points for your team!
Window Decorating Week:
This week will allow North Halls residents to decorate their windows with a unique sticky note design of their choice! For those participating, please keep your designs friendly and fun- preferably no curse words, negative language, or offensive symbols. Participants will all be awarded a specific number of points, with grand prize point totals going out to the windows the NHAS Executive Board believes are the most unique and exciting. We look forward to seeing what you all come up with!
Additional ways you can earn points towards your North Wars team is by participating in "Guess the Count," which will be hosted all week. Between the hours of 4-5 pm Monday through Friday of this week, our NHAS board will have a booth stationed right inside of Warnock Commons, right near the front desk and the doors to the market. We have a jar of gummy bears already counted up and waiting for YOU to guess how many there are! Points will be alloted to anyone who participates, and the closest guess will win the entire jar of gummy bears! Participation is limited to one guess for the whole week, seeing as we are not allowing multiple guesses and the count of gummy bears is staying the same throughout the duration of the event. Come visit our booth and win points for your team!
North Week:
As a final hoorah to North Wars, our final week, titled "North Week," will allow MANY different events to allow participants to win points towards their team.
Throughout the entire week of North Wars, Monday through Friday from 4-5 pm, participants can donate change benefitting our organization in order to gain points for their North Wars team! You can donate any amount of change, however, only pennies will be positive points for YOUR team. When you donate any silver change, such as nickels, dimes, and quarters, you can remove points from another team's ranking for Penny Wars. This competition will revolve around a ranking system, so the team with the most points at the end of the week will gain 25 points, the runner up will gain 20 points, and third place will get 15 points. An automatic 5 points will go to teams with any pennies donated.
On Tuesday, November 7th, join us between the hours of 8 and 11 pm for Competition Events! During this period of time, we will be playing all sorts of competition games in which participants (and especially winners) can gain points towards their North Wars team!
On Wednesday, November 8th, we have two opportunities for participants to win points. Between the hours of 8 and 11 pm, NRHH will be hosting an event in collaboration with NHAS, where participants will get points for simply attending. During this event, we will be painting pumpkins together and enjoying some fun holiday music. This will be lots of fun, and at NHAS, we are looking forward to this amazing collaboration.
On Thursday, November 9th, we will once again have two opportunities for participants to win points. From 7-8 pm, we will be hosting an egg hunt around the North Halls quad, meeting in the lobby of Warnock Commons. Then, from 8-10 pm on the same night, we will be hosting a Minute-To-Win-It Event, where participants (and especially our winners) will earn points towards their North Wars teams. You don't want to miss this!
On Friday, November 10th, from 5-7 pm we will be hosting a Tie Dying Event. T-shirts and supplies will be provided, and participants will not only gain points towards their North Wars team, but will also receive a really cool, self-dyed NHAS T-shirt to take home with them!
Last but certainly not least, we will be hosting a Casino Night on Monday, November 13th from 8-11 pm. We will supply everything needed for a fun casino experience, including some seriously sick prizes for our game winners. Don't miss this chance to win points for your North Wars team and to win some amazing prizes to keep for yourself!
