Access Starfish

Starfish is a student success platform that allows students to meet with their Academic Advisors, instructors, and access to other useful student support services. Scheduling appointments with academic advisors are important because they will help students plan and schedule courses that will benefit their graduation process, ensuring that they stay on track by scheduling the correct required classes.

To access Starfish, click on the link below:

Then click on "Starfish Login" to access the Service Catalog that Starfish provides on the main page.

Scheduling Appointments With Advisors

Select your assigned academic advisor from the list of connections on the main page.

2. Once you are on your advisor's profile page, click on "Schedule Appointment" on the left side of the page.

3. Select your inquiry from the list of available options.

4. Schedule the day and time you would like to meet with your advisor.

5. State your reasoning for scheduling the appointment with your academic advisor so they have some background knowledge beforehand.

6. Click "Confirm" on the bottom right of the page to officially schedule the meeting with your academic advisor. You should shortly receive and outlook email from Starfish officially confirming that your scheduled appointment was successful.

Tips

To view who your assigned Academic Advisor is:
- Navigate to LionPATH Student Home Base and click "Degree Planning and Progress"
- Then click "My Advisors" where you should be able to view who your Academic Advisor is

2. It is advised to meet with your Academic Advisor at least once every semester.

3. Starfish also provides students with many other education services at the bottom of the page. Click on "Show Other Services" on the bottom left to view more.
