Is this site right for me?
Purpose: This site was created to help incoming freshman planning on majoring in electrical engineering (EE) or EE students in their first or second year. It will provide insightful contextualization to helpful online resources that many EE students should use. The resources will cover how to properly plan future topics, the important foundational classes, and campus involvement.
Assumptions: This resource guide is assuming users have a general idea of how the Penn State Main EE undergraduate department operates. This includes knowledge of the standard duration of the degree, how the transition from engineering undecided to picking a specific engineering type works, and high school equivalent general physics knowledge. Lastly, the user should have knowledge of general abbreviations for technical departments and topics.
General use: At the top of the page is the table of contents that will redirect users to any one of the three main topics of the site (click the header to be redirected). It is recommended that users about to become or already first year students allocate more time on the "Planning Future Classes" and "Campus involvement" pages.
