Anna E Shetler, MA

Hi! I'm Anna (she/her).

I'm a fourth-year doctoral student studying Demography and Sociology at Penn State University. I'm also an NICHD T32 Predoctoral Trainee in social environments and population health. My main research interests are in health disparities, community social support, and contextual effects (e.g., neighborhood effects) across the life course. I also have a love for data, maps, and other visualizations.

When I'm not reading for classes or working on research projects, I enjoy trying new recipes, hanging out with my cat Dill, and playing the occasional intramural sport.
