How will you record your video?

Before we worry about how to film your video, you will need to acquire a pair of headphones. The only audio we want to hear in the video is your voice. You will listen to the song on headphones while you are recording your video. Keep in mind we don’t want to hear the audio from the video - we just want to hear YOU. (If you have a pair of headphones with a built-in microphone, that is even better! iPhone headphones have this built in). If you are on a laptop/tablet, there should also be a built-in microphone.

You have 2 options when it comes to filming:

Option 1: Record on your laptop/tablet. MAKE SURE YOUR MICROPHONE WORKS IN THE FINAL VIDEO.

Option 2: Film on your phone or your parent/guardian’s phone. FILM IT HORIZONTALLY! (sideways) (email videos to cesar.quintanilla@psjaisd.us)

TIME TO FILM!

Part 1: Film your video while you listen to the song through headphones. Pay attention to when you are supposed to sing your part. Practice multiple times before filming your video.

I will assign another small group of students to film an additional video of yourself singing the second part.
