As we approach the end of the year we would like to share with you the dates and times for upcoming events for the 5th grade and 8th grade Class of 2020. All events will be virtual events and more information will follow for families to sign on for the awards night and graduation.

There will be a car caravan of administration and school staff throughout the community to celebrate the graduates immediately after the closing of the 8th grade ceremony.

More information will be sent to all the graduates and their families in the coming weeks.

Important Information Regarding May Parent Teacher Conferences

Dear Parents & Guardians,

This May your child's teachers will be reaching out to you to discuss your child's progress during remote learning. Attached is a survey that we ask you to fill out in order for the teachers to know the best way to reach out to you. We ask that if you choose email, that upon receipt of the teachers' email, you kindly reply that you have read it and include any questions and/or comments.

Thanks to Ms. Melluso and the not so camera shy staff at PSIS 206, here is the link to our school video. We wanted to share this with our students to let them know how much we miss them.

The PS206 Feeding site closed as of 4/3/2020. If you need meals please go to one of the following sites:

Important Message: Starting Monday, there will be no staff in the school to answer phones, email equigle@schools.nyc.gov for assistance.

Suspension of the New York State Elementary- and Intermediate-Level State Assessments for the Remainder of the School Year

PS/IS 206 along with all city schools will be closed starting Monday March 16th through Monday April 20th. Students will not be attending school in all grades. Remote learning will be setup to provide your children continued instruction, including the technology necessary for remote learning for students who need it. More guidance to families will be sent this week.
