The DOE will be opening the window for families requesting change from 100% remote to blended learning is closing on Sunday 11/15/2020. If you want to change your child to blended, this is the only window the NYCDOE is offering.

    • Families requesting to change from 100% remote to blended learning should complete and submit the Learning Preference survey during this window.

The start date will be announced shortly will be between 11/30 -12/7.


Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences are on November 19th, 2020. There are two sessions, afternoon 12:00-2:00 and evening 5:00-7:30. All sessions will be virtual as there will be no in-person conferences. There will be a half day on November 19th for Middle School students, they will be dismissed at 11AM.

Dear Parent and/or Guardian, As you know, we ask families to fill out a Family Income Inquiry Form each year. This helps ensure funding for our school which includes Title One and funding for other programs. Please note that if you have not done so yet to please complete the form as soon as possible. REVISED - Update for Families in Impacted Zip Codes - October 5 2020

Out of an abundance of caution, and to keep you and your family safe, yesterday Mayor de Blasio announced a

plan to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in these areas. This plan includes closing all school buildings in these

zip codes beginning Tuesday, October 6 for at least a two-week period. See attached letter from Chancellor Carranza.

Breakfast and Lunch available at 206 during closure from 9AM-12PM school days.

Pickup at the main entrance of PSIS206 on Gravesend Neck Road.

Remember, keep yourself and others healthy!

October 5th is "C" day and only C day students should attend.

To expediate the entry of your child in the morning. Please complete health screening, information below.

Daily Health Screenings: We remind everyone- staff and students to please temperature check and fill in the daily health screening form before going to school. The app can be downloaded on a phone here, completed and shown upon entry. A printable form in all languages are here. A How-to video is available in English, Spanish and Chinese (When more are available, we will share) Visitors must temperature check and complete screening form as well. Visitors should contact school regarding visiting protocols before going to the school. A helpful tip is to post this flyer on your wall to remind everyone each day or set a reminder on your cell phone.
