NYC Students Account

Due to the changes that were made by the Department of Education in how we sign into DOE Chromebooks, password resets were necessary for students to log into the Chromebooks in school. We can no longer log in with our psis206k.com emails.


Students will have to use their @nycstudents.net account to log in.

If you do not know your students @nycstudents.net account or password, please contact their classroom teacher.


If you change your child’s password, you must provide that with the student so that they can log into the Chromebooks and access their accounts in school.


We are currently preparing for our first fully remote day on November 2nd, Election day. Students that have Chromebooks or Ipads at home that are issued by the Department of Education school, will need the correct password to join their classes online.


Teachers have full access to the @nycstudents.net email addresses and they can also be found at clever.com


Students are now able to log in to their school Gmail account once they log in with their @nycschools account.

Here are the steps (this can be done in school as well)

  1. Log into Chromebook with @nycstudents account

  2. Open up chrome browser

  3. search Gmail

  4. Click on link that will take you to Gmail

  5. Students will see only their nycstudents account in the right corner

  6. Click on account picture, then click add account

  7. Students can now add their psis206 Gmail account

  8. Once loaded they can access your google classrooms
