Ms. Sarah A. Eisma
Sarah Alviar-Eisma is an educator and a lifelong learner. A faculty member of the Social Science Unit of the PSHS-Main Campus teaching History, Economics, and Civic Engagement. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education in Social Studies and MA in Educational Psychology and is currently taking her PhD in Educational Psychology all from the College of Education of the University of the Philippines - Diliman. As an educational psychologist, she is interested in how students learn how they learn. Thus, her research interests include but are not limited to problem/project-based learning (PBL), authentic learning, social-emotional learning (SEL), student motivation and engagement, service-learning, career education, and mentoring. Her advocacy includes fostering student agency, authentic learning, mentoring, and promoting equitable access, inclusiveness, quality, and relevant education.
