PROJECT- BASED LEARNING WORSHOP PRESENTER PROFILE

Paul Randy Palua Gumanao is a Special Science Teacher III at Philippine Science High School SOCCSKSARGEN Region Campus teaching Chemistry 4 for Grade 12 students and advising several student researchers. He is a Registered Chemist. He finished his BS in Chemistry as a DOST-SEI Merit scholar at the Ateneo de Davao University in 2012 and completed his academic requirements for Master of Science in Chemistry at the same university. He is an incoming 4th year law school at the Notre Dame of Marbel University. In 2018, Paul was a participant of the 3-week STEM Specialists’ Training at Nanyang Polytechnic International in Singapore, where he was trained on Design Thinking and other Teaching and Learning Innovations. During the PSHS System’s 21st anniversary celebration in February 2019, Paul was a recipient of the SINAGTALA Teaching Excellence Award. For several occasions, he has been tapped as a resource person about STEM Teaching and Learning, Design Thinking, Journalism, and Creative Writing.
