PROJECT- BASED LEARNING WORSHOP PRESENTER PROFILE

Mr. Millard Uy is a special science teacher at the Philippine Science High School—Central Visayas Campus, handling biology and research. Before joining the PSHS, he taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila and the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City. Millard was a graduate student and a research scientist at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz in Germany for 6 years, with a concentration in plant molecular evolution. He has had extensive lab and field experience, including in situ botanical studies in the Swiss Alps.
