PAPER PRESENTER PROFILE

Mr. Alerta is a magna cum laude graduate of BS Mathematics major in Applied Statistics program in 2012 at the Caraga State University-Main Campus. He also earned his Master of Science in Statistics at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos in 2016, and currently working on his Ph.D. in Data Science. He is happily married with two wonderful kids. In terms of work experience, Mr. Alerta started his profession in the academic strand as college instructor. Prior to Pisay, he has also ventured as consultant and analyst in several private and public funded projects. He has provided statistical and research services in government agencies by serving as resource person or trainer in trainings and seminars. He authored and co-authored several research articles in peer-reviewed and Scopus indexed journals. Presently, he is holding the position as Special Science Teacher III in Statistics and the Designated Campus Statistician and the Research Unit Head of the Philippine Science High School Caraga Region Campus.
