PAPER PRESENTER PROFILE

John Ridan D. Dechusa is a Filipino subject teacher from PSHS-Caraga Region Campus, Ampayon Butuan City. He finished his Bachelor and Master of Arts in Language Teaching (Filipino) at the University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan. Currently, he is completing his dissertation studies for the degree, Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics major in Filipino at the University of Mindanao, Davao City. Among the subjects he handles are research in Filipino and Filipino 4, and he has been designated as the Assistant Curriculum and Instruction Division for Student Affairs from SY 2022–2023 and SY 2023–2024. He has also published numerous Filipino research publications and presented his master’s thesis at the 2019 International Conference on Creative Teaching Assessment and Research (ICCTAR) with research entitled “Students’ Opportunity in Classroom Discussions: Its Relation on Their Speaking Ability” at the University of Putra Malaysia.
