DR. SEGUNDO JOAQUIN ROMERO
Dr. Segundo Joaquin E. Romero Jr.
is presently a professorial lecturer of development and urban studies at the Ateneo de Manila University and of Public and Development Management at the School of Government of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and the Graduate School of Public and Development Management of the Development Academy of the Philippines. He is also a member of the steering committee. Committee of the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA) Asia, with headquarters in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia. Since January 2019, he has been an opinion columnist for the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Over the past five decades, he has written numerous articles and books, the most recent being “Science for the People: Helping People Help Themselves,” published by the Department of Science and Technology.
